Attorney General Mayes Announces 10 Count Felony Indictment in Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Child Sexual Abuse Material Case

PHOENIX – Attorney General Mayes announced that Maxwell James Barrington has been charged with ten counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, all Class 2 Felonies, in Maricopa County Superior Court.
 
Barrington is alleged to have possessed child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
 
The Special Investigations Section of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office investigated this case with assistance from the Chandler Police Department. The case is being prosecuted by the Fraud and Special Prosecutions Section of the Arizona Attorney General's Office.

All defendants are presumed innocent until convicted.
