Attorney General Kris Mayes Announces 15 Year Sentence in Serious Domestic Violence Case

PHOENIX – Attorney General Kris Mayes announced that Christina Albert was sentenced to 15 years in the Department of Corrections on one count of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, with a concurrent 7.5 years on one count of Aggravated Assault, Deadly Weapon/Dangerous Instrument, Domestic Violence. 

"Domestic violence is a serious crime that will not be tolerated in Arizona," said Attorney General Mayes. 

The case involved the repeated sexual and physical abuse of Albert's girlfriend between May and June 2023.  

Albert was sentenced on November 4, 2025. She was ordered to have no contact with the victim whatsoever. She was also ordered to register as a sex offender. Albert had pled guilty on September 25, 2025.
