PHOENIX -- Today the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) granted Attorney General Mark Brnovich’s request to allow Arizona’s pro-life law, S.B. 1457, to go into effect, while litigation moves forward.

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich Joins $1.25 Million Multistate Settlement Over Carnival Cruise Line Data Breach

PHOENIX – Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced today that Arizona, along with 45 other attorneys general, obtained a $1.25 million multistate settlement with Florida-based Carnival Cruise Line, stemming from a 2019 data breach that involved the personal information of approximately 180,000 Carnival employees and customers nationwide. Arizona will receive $52,177.22 from the settlement.

Former President of Tucson National Guard Non-Profit Sentenced for Embezzlement

TUCSON - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced today that Amy Lyn O’Neill of Tucson has been sentenced to 4 years of probation with 30 days in jail for embezzling funds from the Jimmy Jet Foundation, a nonprofit organization serving the Arizona National Guard’s 162nd Fighter Wing. O’Neill was convicted of one count of Solicitation to Commit Theft on June 21, a class 4 felony, after being indicted in December 2021.

General Brnovich Takes Action Against Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board Officials

PHOENIX – Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich filed a lawsuit today against current school board member and former president, Jann-Michael Greenburg, along with the entire Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD). 

"SUSD manipulated public input and silenced the voices of parents in order to advance its own agenda," said General Brnovich. "This type of bad school behavior demands expulsion."
