Man who Posed as Woman Online to Prey on Teen Girl Sentenced to 8 Years in Prison

PHOENIX – Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced 55 year old Danny Lee Wallace was sentenced to 8 years in prison and lifetime probation.  Maricopa County Judge Joan Sinclair also ordered Wallace to register as a sex offender.  In February 2017, Wallace pleaded guilty on one felony count of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and one felony count of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.

AG Brnovich Encourages Arizonans to Take Part in National Drug Take-Back Day

PHOENIX - One in four teens report abusing or misusing a prescription drug at least once in their lifetime. One person dies every day in Arizona due to a prescription opioid overdose. Arizonans need to work together to keep unwanted prescriptions out of the wrong hands. This Saturday, April 29, 2017 is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day which aims to provide a safe, convenient, and secure means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.

WANTED: AZ Drug Trafficker On The Run

PHOENIX - Attorney General Mark Brnovich is warning the public to be on the lookout for a convicted drug trafficker who is currently on the run. Brian Pardo, 37, is considered armed and dangerous. A Maricopa County jury found Pardo guilty on 5 felony charges related to selling marijuana and “shatter,” a high-potency hash oil. Pardo absconded during trial. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

AZ Drug Trafficker Sentenced to More than 17 Years in Prison

PHOENIX - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced a convicted drug trafficker, who spent two months on the run, will spend 17 years and 6 months in prison. Patrick Pina, 44, absconded during his trial just before a jury found him guilty of the Sale of Dangerous Drugs, Money Laundering, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Marijuana. In October 2016, the Arizona Attorney General's Office sought the public's assistance in locating Pina. Two months later, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office arrested Pina at a home in Peoria, AZ.
