Former Pinetop-Lakeside Town Clerk Indicted - Accused of Theft & Misuse of Public Monies

NAVAJO COUNTY - Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced a State Grand Jury indicted Leah Chavez, a former town clerk, for allegedly stealing more than $30,000 from the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside. Chavez, 39, is charged with 10 felony counts including Theft, Forgery, and Misuse of Public Monies.

PHOENIX - Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced a State Grand Jury indicted 24-year-old Arthur Michael Sesate for allegedly stealing jewelry from 7 seniors at an assisted living facility in Mesa. The Arizona Attorney General’s Office Health Care Fraud and Abuse Section and the Mesa Police Department investigated this case.
