Terry Goddard to Honor Teen Crime Victim

(Phoenix, Ariz. – April 24, 2006) Attorney General Terry Goddard on Tuesday will present his office’s first “Spirit of Courage Award” honoring crime victims.

The award will be presented to a 17-year-old Phoenix girl who demonstrated courage by providing critical court testimony that led to a felony conviction and for conquering her methamphetamine addiction. The ceremony will be held in the rose garden in front of the Attorney General’s Office, 1275 W. Washington St., beginning at 10 a.m.

Goddard will also honor Assistant Attorneys General Monica Klapper, Nick Acedo and Ted Noyes for their significant contributions to victims’ rights and interests.
