Terry Goddard to be Honored by Arizona Consumers Council

(Phoenix, Ariz. – April 5, 2006) Attorney General Terry Goddard will receive the Currin V. Shields Award by the Arizona Consumers Council at the group’s 40th anniversary dinner on Thursday evening, April 6. The award recognizes Goddard, his staff and his office’s publications that have provided valuable assistance to Arizona consumers.

The late Currin V. Shields was president of the Arizona Consumers Council from 1969 to 1980. In 1973, he started the national Conference of Consumer Organizations.
