Additional Information:

As part of the Attorney General's Office (AGO) Outreach initiative to protect Arizona citizens and their personal information, our office regularly hosts free Shred-A-Thons throughout state. These events allow Arizonans to safely and securely dispose of their private and sensitive information. Many of these events also provide a prescription drug takeback component. Information on upcoming document shredding and drug takeback events can be viewed here.

Last fiscal year, the AGO assisted in the destruction of 47,250 pounds of sensitive documents via Shred-a-Thons.
