Constance Kohl to Receive Leadership Award

(Phoenix, Ariz. – August 2, 2005)  Constance Kohl, Chief Director of Administrative Operations for the Arizona Attorney General's Office, will receive the Nelson Kempsky Management and Leadership Award from the Conference of Western Attorneys General. The award will be presented to Kohl Wednesday during the organization’s annual meeting.

Kohl oversees the administrative functions of the office, including budget, finance, and procurement; human resources; information services; facilities management and planning; and library and research.  She is being recognized for her outstanding leadership and development of management concepts and practices that have benefited all Attorney General offices.

“Constance is a terrific asset to our office,” said Attorney General Terry Goddard. “She performs on a daily basis with extraordinary efficiency and professionalism.”     

Kohl joined the Attorney General’s Office in 1999.  She started working for the State of Arizona in 1981. Kohl holds a Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degree from Boston University.
