General Voter Information

All polling locations in Arizona will be open from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm on Election Day (November 5, 2024).  If you are in line to vote by 7pm, you must be permitted to cast your vote.

Early voting began on October 9 and you may return your mailed ballot by mail or in person at a drop box, an early voting location, or an Election Day polling place.  Remember, all early ballots must be received by your county election office no later than 7:00 pm on Election Day.  If you are mailing your ballot, the Secretary of State recommends that voters put their ballots in the mail no later than 7 to ten days before Election Day.  If you have not mailed your ballot by October 28, you should return your ballot to an early voting location or a drop box near you to ensure it arrives on time.

AI and Election Misinformation

AI tools are widely available, and although they can be used for beneficial purposes, they can also be used to generate and spread misinformation about elections. With ever-evolving technology, it can often be difficult to determine what is real and what is not. AI can be used to create deepfakes and generate misleading emails, phone calls, and text messages so realistic that they seem to be conversations with real human beings. Once an AI-generated image or video is posted on social media, it can spread quickly.
