Attorney General Mayes Announces 26-Year Prison Sentence for Mesa Man Convicted of Sexually Exploiting a Child

PHOENIX — Attorney General Kris Mayes announced that Jason Robert Henry, 43, has been sentenced to 26 years in prison for sexually exploiting a minor. Henry was indicted on December 15, 2025, and was sentenced on August 12, 2026, in Maricopa County Superior Court, following a July 10, 2026 guilty plea.

"My office will continue to aggressively investigate and prosecute anyone who preys on Arizona's children, using every tool available to keep predators off our streets and away from our kids," said Attorney General Kris Mayes.

Henry was convicted of one count of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, a class 2 felony and a dangerous crime against children with 1 prior felony conviction and two counts of Attempt to Commit Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, class 3 felonies and dangerous crimes against children. He will also serve lifetime supervised probation after release and must register as a sex offender with computer usage terms for the remainder of his life. 

Assistant Attorney General Haleigh Wright prosecuted the case.
