The Special Investigations Section of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office has an ongoing need for interns. Applicants will be highly motivated students from Arizona State University or other Phoenix area colleges and universities, and will have an interest in law enforcement or related fields. Applicants should be taking a relevant course of study, such as in the ASU School of Criminal Justice and Criminology, and have a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.75. Preference will be given to students enrolled in an internship class for credit, please see your academic advisor.
These internships will provide an excellent opportunity to work with experienced investigators involved in various types of criminal investigations and complaint intake. Investigations may involve:
· White collar crimes
· Political corruption
· Money laundering
· Consumer fraud
· Medical fraud
· Vulnerable adult abuse
