National Consumer Protection Week Presentation

The Arizona Attorney General's Office, Consumer Protection and Advocacy Section invites you to its presentation at Arizona State University West on February 3, 2003 regarding important consumer issues including identity theft, life care planning, credit cards, telemarketing, insurance, banking, securities, and home construction/repair. Presenters will provide information regarding the trends of consumer fraud and how to protect yourself from becoming a victim of fraud.

The participating agencies, Arizona Attorney General's Office Consumer Protection and Advocacy, Federal Bureau of Investigations, United States Postal Inspector, Better Business Bureau, Arizona State Banking Department, Arizona Department of Insurance, Arizona Registrar of Contractors, and Arizona Corporation Commission Securities Division, will answer questions from the audience and provide informative brochures and pamphlets to the attendees.
