Glendale Man Receives 20-Year Prison Term on Drug Charges

(Phoenix, Ariz. – March 16, 2007) Attorney General Terry Goddard today announced that Mickey C. Rosenquist, 32, of Glendale, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after being found guilty last December on methamphetamine and other drug-related charges.

In October 2004, Phoenix police officers found Rosenquist with one-third pound of wet methamphetamine, more than 1,700 pseudoephedrine pills in blister packs, 100 grams of MSM (dimethylsulfone, an agent used to cut meth) and other drug paraphernalia. A jury found Rosenquist guilty of one count of possession of meth for sale, one count of possession of equipment or chemicals for the purpose of manufacturing a dangerous drug and one count of possession of marijuana. All are felony charges.

Rosenquist was convicted of unrelated meth charges in February 2006 and was sentenced to seven years in prison. He will serve the two sentences concurrently.
