Four Tucson Men Indicted on Charges Related to Drive-By Shootings

TUCSON -- Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced a State Grand Jury indicted four Tucson men on charges relating to Assisting and Participating in a Criminal Street Gang, Drive by Shooting, Aggravated Assault, Discharging a Firearm at a Residential Structure, Misconduct Involving Weapons, Conspiracy, and Illegally Conducting an Enterprise, among other related charges.

The allegations in the indictment arise out of an investigation into multiple shootings allegedly committed to increase the stature of a Tucson-based criminal street gang that calls itself the Get Money Gang. Each named defendant in the indictment is accused of participating in at least one of four different shootings that reportedly damaged several occupied homes in December 2018. In one shooting, for example, the indictment alleges that a 16-year-old was severely injured when his finger was nearly shot off.
