Charter School Superintendent Indicted for Stealing Cash from School

(Phoenix, Ariz. – May 6, 2004)   Attorney General Terry Goddard announced the indictment of Dennis Deliman on three counts of theft for allegedly stealing $12,000.  Deliman is accused of using used funds from Rolling Hills Charter School, located in Paulden, AZ, to pay for his personal legal expenses and court fines.

The investigation was conducted by the Arizona Attorney General’s Office with assistance from the Arizona Charter School Board.  Deliman is scheduled to appear in Yavapai County Superior Court on May 10.  If Deliman is found guilty, he would face probation to 8.75 years in jail.  Assistant Attorney General Desi Rubalcaba is prosecuting the case.
