Attorney General to Acknowledge Victims of Crime at Event on Monday

(Phoenix, AZ—April 4, 2003)  Attorney General Terry Goddard will host an event for Crime Victim Week on Monday, April 7 at 11:00 a.m. in the 3rd floor conference room at  the Capitol Center, 15 S. 15th Avenue. The media is invited to attend. 

Victims of all types of crimes will be in attendance and during the  event the Attorney General will acknowledge them. Each will receive a token of the Office’s commitment to victims. 

Awards will also be given to Law Angel of the Year, an attorney who has given special assistance to crime victims. 

Goddard will announce funding  of over $2 million to law enforcement and criminal justice agencies across Arizona. Since the program began 10 years ago, over $20 million has been distributed.
