Grijalva Park
5775 S. Oak Tree,
Tucson

Tomorrow, Saturday October 26, 2013,
AG Horne visit: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Picnic time: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

WHY:

With the release of the national mortgage settlement funds, the Attorney General’s Office has created a number of new programs to help families facing foreclosure on their homes, may have late payments due to unemployment or underemployment, or may even be the victims of fraud.

The Midvale Neighborhood is an area especially hard hit by the past five years of recession.  Attorney General Tom Horne will spend the time at the Midvale Park picnic to talk about the new programs, under the campaign “Help You Can Trust,” and meet with homeowners and their families.

The Attorney General will speak at 1 PM.

DETAILS:

The annual Midvale Park picnic offers families a fun day filled with jumping castles, Eegees, food, music, and visits from local and state officials.

Partners in the event include Pima County, the Tucson Police Department, The Manor at Midvale, the Midvale-Valencia Self Storage, the Midvale Park RV & Self Storage, the Tucson Unified School District and many others.
