AG Brnovich Files Lawsuit after Telemarketing & Do Not Call Violations

PHOENIX – Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced his office filed a Consumer Fraud Lawsuit against a Scottsdale business accused of placing hundreds of telemarketing and robocalls to Arizonans listed on the National Do Not Call Registry. Larmore Auto Glass, LLC, operating under the names “O’Reilly's Auto Glass” and “Freedom Auto Glass” marketed windshield replacement services by allegedly violating Arizona’s Telephone Solicitation Statutes.

NOTE: O’Reilly's Auto Glass has no affiliation with O’Reilly Auto Parts.

The Attorney General’s Office Consumer Fraud Lawsuit also alleges Larmore initiated telephone solicitations to Arizona consumers who had repeatedly asked the company to stop calling or had informed the company that their numbers were on the Do Not Call Registry.

“I’m fed up with businesses that refuse to follow Arizona’s Telephone Solicitation Laws,” said Attorney General Brnovich “Consumers should not have to deal with harassing and unwanted sales calls in the privacy of their own homes.”

The lawsuit requests the Court order Larmore Auto Glass to stop its alleged illegal telephone solicitations and to order the business to pay civil penalties and the State’s attorneys’ fees and cost associated with the investigation and litigation of the matter.

This case is being handled by Assistant Attorney General Mitchell Allee.

Earlier this month, the Attorney General's Office filed another Consumer Fraud Lawsuit against Prescott Valley-based AJ's Auto Glass for allegedly violating the National Do Not Call Registry.
