Arizona Attorney General’s Web Site Receives Award

(Phoenix, Ariz. - August 16, 2006) For the second straight year, the Conference of Western Attorneys General (CWAG) has honored the Arizona Attorney General’s Office Web site, this year giving it the Best Overall award. The award was presented at the CWAG annual meeting last week in Anchorage, Alaska.

The CWAG Awards Committee commended the Arizona Attorney General’s Office for the Web site’s visual impact, design, ease of use, unique attributes and high-quality content.

“Over the last year we have worked to make the Web site as useful and consumer friendly as possible,” said Attorney General Terry Goddard. “This award recognizes the excellent work of our staff to make it a first-rate resource for consumers.”

The multi-state selection committee cited a number of specific features, including:

  • Consistent design throughout the site.
  • The “Spotlight” feature on the home page highlighting current topics such as Consumer Fraud, Identity Theft and Internet Predators.
  • The look of the site: “Easy on the eyes, easy to navigate and logical to use.”
