The Arizona Attorney General’s Office State Government Division, Agency Counsel Section, is seeking a part-time (30 hours per week) Assistant Attorney General to serve as legal advisor to the Arizona Department of Administration, State Procurement Office (SPO) in areas of contracting, finance, public records and other public accountability laws. This Attorney is responsible for conducting all phases of litigation in administrative hearings, state court, and federal court and at the appellate level, where necessary, including complex litigation. Additionally, this attorney provides extensive advice on public contracting, assists with negotiating contracts and with responding to protest of contract awards and litigating appeals of the decisions by the Director of the Department of Administration.
