State v. Old Concho(disability)

The State brings this action pursuant to. the Arizona Fair Housing Act ("AFHA"), Arizona Revised Statute § 41-1491 to 41.1491.37, to correct a discriminatory and unlawful housing practice, provide appropriate relief to. an aggrieved person, and to vindicate the public interest. Specifically, the State brings this matter to redress the injury sustained by the refusal of the Defendants to grant a reasonable modification for Betty J. KIeeger ("Kreeger"), a person with a disability, to raise the height of the sinks and countertops in her unit at Defendant's housing development.

State v. Perno (familial status)

This is an action brought under the Arizona Fair Housing Act ("AFHA"), Arizona Revised Statute § 41-1491 to 41-1491.37, to correct a discriminatory housing practice, provide appropriate relief to aggrieved persons, and vindicate the public interest. Specifically, the State brings this matter to redress the injury sustained when Defendant refused to rent after receiving a bona fide offer, refused to negotiate for rental, made discriminatory statements, or otherwise made a rental house unavailable to Catherine Giebel and her family based on their familial status.
