Position Summary: The Financial Remedies Section (FRS) of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office Criminal Division Tucson seeks an Assistant Attorney General to represent the state in racketeering enforcement and litigating forfeiture cases pursuant to Arizona’s Racketeering and Forfeiture statutes. The attorney in this position will initiate and litigate cases against individuals, criminal organizations, illegal enterprises and the property and financial resources used in and acquired from racketeering conduct. The attorney will work with prosecutors in the Criminal Division, Arizona Attorney General agents, and law enforcement agents and task forces from local, county, state and federal jurisdictions working in Pima County and Arizona’s other southern counties. This job entails civil litigation at both the trial court and appellate level. A working knowledge of Title 13 of the Arizona Revised Statutes, particularly white collar crimes, and the Arizona Rules of Civil and Criminal Procedure is required, and experience in complex civil litigation is preferred.
