Position Summary: The Arizona Attorney General’s Office Criminal Division, Special Investigations Section is seeking an Administrative Assistant III. Position will be responsible for assisting the Law Enforcement Administrator, Special Agent Supervisors and the Special Agents in a variety of administrative tasks including but not limited: applicant fingerprinting, vehicle record management and maintenance, running criminal histories, the compilation of investigative information through a variety of investigative tools, all case file tasks, archive of dated material and handle purchase order requisitions. The position must also respond to the public by answering and fielding incoming calls; answer inquiries concerning raffling & gambling questions, processing travel claims, review and distribute incoming mail; perform a variety of complex administrative support duties such as drafts, bates labeling, create brochures and tables; photocopy, fax, scan and shred confidential legal documents; arrange, file, and sort documents and case files; compile and archive closed investigative files; order supplies and maintain office supply room; research files to obtain specific information. The position will require the use of various computer programs used to obtain confidential law enforcement information as well as other equipment for storage and retrieval of confidential data. Position will input data into Legal Files Case Management System, the BEAST Evidence Management System, various Access databases and perform a multitude of complex special projects for the Law Enforcement Administrator and Special Agents.
