Accounting Specialist 2 (Operations Division)

Position Summary:  The Operations Division/Budget and Finance Section is seeking an Accounting Specialist 2. The position will be responsible for travel related activities.  Reviews, prepares and inputs travel and employee reimbursement claims into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Will be responsible for running various travel and employee reimbursement related reports to identify inconsistencies and errors though the use of Info Advantage, Data Warehouse, HRIS and Crystal Reports.  Will be responsible for maintaining the travel and employee reimbursement logs.  Will need to ensure that all claims are in compliance with the State of Arizona Accounting Manual (SAAM).  Position may also be assigned components of payroll, accounts payable and general ledger.
