Whatever your circumstances, HUD-approved housing counselors can help you understand if you are eligible for one or more of the numerous mortgage assistance programs available.
In addition to current and recently expanded programs, Arizona has created a flexible mortgage loan program and the Attorney General has set aside $20 million from the National Mortgage Settlement Funds to help distressed homeowners.
The Arizona Mortgage Relief Fund is a statewide program, administered by Neighborhood Housing Services of Phoenix, to provide loans to borrowers struggling to stay in their homes.
To access these funds, borrowers will need to work with housing counselors. Counselors can guide homeowners to new and expanded programs available now, including those who may have been turned down for one or more programs in the past.
