Victims' Rights Training

The Arizona legislature has appropriated monies to provide training throughout Arizona to criminal justice agencies that are mandated by law to provide assistance to crime victims regarding their rights. The Victims’ Rights Trainer, in collaboration with the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC) and County Victim Compensation Administrators, provides training to those agencies, as well as private non-profit organizations that work with victims of crime.


Training Offered

Victims' Rights 101

Advanced Victims' Rights

Each training session is presented from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a one-hour break for lunch.

Victims' Rights 101 has been approved for AZ POST, Continuing Training Credit and COJET Credit. May also qualify for up to 6 hours toward annual CLE requirements of the State Bar of Arizona.

There is no charge for the Training but registration is required.
