Victim Services

Training Calendar

The Arizona Attorney General’s Office of Victim Services (OVS) will offer the following Victims’ Rights Training to criminal justice agencies that are mandated by law to provide assistance to crime victims regarding their rights, as well as private non-profit organizations that work with victims of crime.

Victims’ Rights 101 is geared to inform new victim assistance providers and justice practitioners about Arizona Victims’ Rights. The agenda includes a brief history of victims’ rights, “who the victim is” in the eyes of the law, the victim’s “journey” through the justice process, restitution, and Victim Compensation programs.

The Advanced Victims’ Rights agenda includes legislative updates, review of recent case law, victim impact and Human Trafficking and Identifying Victims.

There is no charge for the Training but registration is required. A list of training dates and locations is provided below.
