Terry Goddard Announces the 2010 Student Art Competition Winners
In an effort to make young people aware of the tragedy of elder abuse, Attorney General
Terry Goddard, the Arizona Elder Abuse Coalition and the Arizona Area Agencies on Aging partnered in the 2010 "Why Should I Care About Elder Abuse?" Student Arts Competition.
High School Juniors throughout Arizona were invited to create an original artwork illustrating the "Why Should I Care About Elder Abuse?" message for use on a poster that was distributed as part of a statewide Elder Abuse Awareness campaign in conjunction with World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, June 15, 2010. |
