(Phoenix, Ariz. — Oct. 14, 2009) Attorney General Terry Goddard will hold a press conference today in Tucson starting at 2 p.m. to voice support for the proposed Federal Consumer Financial Protection Agency. Goddard will be joined by representatives from Pima County community organizations, including the Primavera Foundation and the Southwest Center for Economic Integrity.

The U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Financial Services is meeting today to discuss H.R. 3126, the Consumer Financial Protection Agency Act of 2009.
