Message from the Attorney General
December 21, 2006

Building On Our Progress
Serving as Arizona's Attorney General the past four years has been an honor and a privilege. Working together with a highly professional team of attorneys, staff and law enforcement agencies, we have accomplished a lot.
I am grateful to all those who have supported me and helped make my first term as Attorney General a success. My second term provides a great opportunity to build on the progress of the past four years.
First and foremost, I am dedicated to making the Arizona Attorney General's Office one of the top public law offices in our country, with legal advice and trial advocacy second to none.
We will intensify our efforts toward our highest crime-fighting priorities: methamphetamine sale and production, human trafficking, drug smuggling and identity theft.
We will aggressively pursue those who mistreat Arizonans in the marketplace and violate the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act.
We will enlarge our crime and fraud prevention efforts through outreach offices, educational materials and media coverage.
We will maintain our focus on the vital day-to-day work of the Office, providing cost-efficient and effective representation to more than 150 agencies, boards and commissions in state government.
We will continue to make interacting with the Attorney General's Office as convenient as possible with our user-friendly Web site and 25 satellite offices, staffed by a wonderful group of volunteers.
I look forward to serving as your Attorney General for a second term. I pledge my total commitment to protecting Arizonans, enforcing our laws and making Arizona an even better place to live.

Terry Goddard
