DESCRIPTION - Position is responsible for general clerical duties for the Criminal Division, Special Investigations Section including: receptionist, typing, filing, copying, shredding. Skill in filing, sorting, and arranging documents. Skill in verifying and recording information. Skill in following detailed verbal and written instructions.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION – typical ways to obtain KSAs would be: one year of clerical experience. Job-related post-high school education or training may substitute on a month-for-month basis for the required experience. .

Description – Position is responsible for providing legal and administrative support to the Solicitor General, assisting in the preparation of reports, developing and revising office procedures, preparing court filings in State and federal trial and appellate courts, organizing meetings, and completing a variety of special projects assigned by the Solicitor General. As Office Administrator for SGO, duties also include a wide range of administrative functions, including support staff supervision, budget and purchasing responsibilities, preparing paperwork regarding personnel actions and payroll, and facilities and equipment management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities – Comprehensive knowledge of court rules and filing requirements, expertise in preparing legal documents for trial and appellate courts, knowledge of or ability to learn policies and procedures concerning purchasing, payroll, budgetary controls, records retention, office management and supervision. Ability to supervise legal secretaries, effectively communicate orally and in writing, use computer programs including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Experience and Education - Previous experience as a legal secretary, executive assistant, or legal administrator/office manager for a government or law practice.
Position is not covered by the Arizona State Service Merit System.
