Internet Safety School Tour

Attorney General Terry Goddard and the Crime, Fraud & Victim Resource Center staff visited hundreds of schools, delivering presentations on internet safety to tens of thousands of students, parents and educators throughout Arizona. Attorney General Goddard and his team emphasized the importance of internet safety and the need to protect personal information. After listening to personal accounts of internet predators, students were provided with helpful tips on how to control access to their personal information, as well as law enforcement’s most recent efforts to combat internet predators. Protecting children from internet predators remains a top priority for Attorney General Goddard, and he is committed to education, prevention and aggressive prosecution of internet offenders. To that end, the Attorney General’s Office is a member of the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (AZ ICAC), which is made up of investigators representing 53 Arizona law enforcement agencies.
Check out the list of schools at the bottom of the page whose students have gained valuable insight into protecting themselves online.
