Public Service Orientation Training
All state officers and employees are required to receive public service orientation about laws relating to the proper conduct of public business within six months of their election, appointment or hire. A.R.S. 38-592(A). The Attorney General provides this training for all individuals elected or appointed to a statewide elective position and appointed to head a state agency or department. A.R.S. 38-592(B).

The Attorney General also publishes the Public Service Orientation: A Guidebook for Statewide Elected Officials and State Agency Heads, which is updated annually and summarizes state laws that apply to the proper conduct of state business.
