Does Arizona have a three day right of rescission or “cooling off” period on automobile purchases?
No. There is no three-day right to cancel your purchase of a new or used car in Arizona.  However, the Arizona Lemon Law (A.R.S. § 44-1261 et seq.) has a number of specific protections for consumers who purchase new or used cars in Arizona. Consumers should consult the law or an attorney if their newly purchased car does not operate in a reasonable manner.
